Lawn care in North Port, done properly.
North Port lots run big and open, and in summer they grow like they mean it. I keep them cut, edged and blown down every week so the place never gets away from you.

What's different about lawns here
Big lots, fast growth
A lot of North Port is newer building on generous plots, which means more grass per house than you'll find closer to the water. From June through September most of these yards want cutting every week — skip to fortnightly in high summer and you're not mowing any more, you're baling.
Bahia and St. Augustine both turn up here
Plenty of the bigger, unirrigated lots are Bahia, which is tough and happy in sand but throws up seed heads fast and needs a sharp blade to cut cleanly. The irrigated yards tend to be St. Augustine, which wants a higher cut so the runners stay shaded. I set the deck to suit whichever one you've got rather than running one height down the whole street.
Growing end of town
The build-out around Wellen Park has put a lot of brand-new lawns in the ground. New turf is worth staying on top of in its first year — regular cutting is what thickens it up and keeps the weeds from taking the gaps.
Questions people in North Port ask
Do you cover all of North Port?
I'm across North Port regularly and it's on my normal weekly run. If you're right out on the edge of the city, text me the address and I'll tell you straight away whether I can get to you.
How often should a North Port lawn be cut?
Weekly through the wet season, roughly June to September. Most yards settle into every other week once growth slows in the cooler months.
Can you handle a big lot?
Yes. Bigger North Port lots are normal for me — the quote just reflects the size, which is why I like to see the address and a photo before pricing it.
